The room was spacious and cozy with a nice sofa bed, making it a great place to stay for two enjoyable nights.

The owner accommodated all the requests; problem was solved in no time. The bed was good, and they provided us with hypoallergenic pillows. Had a bath. Kitchenette was available for us to cook. We could enjoy views of the castle.

We had an excellent stay in Edinburgh really close to Old Town, the main tourist attractions in Edinburgh, and city centre. Thanks to the owner problem was solved right away. It was absolutely perfect and magnificent close to everything. Nice place to stay, we didn't feel like leaving.

We had a fantastic stay at Modern Grassmarket. The owner was great at keeping in touch before and after our stay, and the location was perfect - right under The Castle! We even got to watch the Tattoo fireworks from the courtyard. The apartment had two spacious bedrooms and all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Though the bathroom could use a little maintenance, it was still usable.

Everything was very good, me and my small family appreciated the stay; I spent 2 nights in there and definitely want to stay in that area again.

The caretaker at Modern Grassmarket was incredibly obliging and helpful during our stay. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable experience. stayed in edinburgh before, but modern grassmarket exceeded expectations for a budget stay. perfect location, clean apartment, comfy bed, and helpful host. parking was a bit challenging but manageable.
